Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (14.5 oz / 410g each) canned green beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp salted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced or minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. Drain the green beans into a colander and rinse under cold water for 30 seconds. Spread them on paper towels and pat completely dry.
  2. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil and butter. Once the butter is foaming, stir in the sliced garlic and sauté for 60–90 seconds until fragrant and pale golden.
  3. Add the dried green beans to the skillet. Increase heat slightly and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle in the onion powder, salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Continue tossing until the beans are heated through and glazed in the garlic butter.
