Ingredients:
- 14 oz extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
Instructions:
- Wrap the tofu block in paper towels and place a heavy skillet on top for 10–15 minutes to remove moisture. Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes.
- Place cubed tofu in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper over the tofu. Toss gently until every cube is evenly coated in a thin layer of starch.
- Preheat the air fryer. Arrange the tofu cubes in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not overlap. Spritz lightly with oil.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the edges are golden-brown and the crust is firm.
